The Canadian Rockies are only a "stone's
throw" from the Ranch and can create
some very
interesting weather conditions. Our summer
weather is generally warm, sunny and dry. However,
late afternoon thunderstorms with high winds
are common place in some locations (if you
don't like the current weather, wait 15 minutes).
Clear sky nights bring an unbelievable "Star
Show" but can also bring frosty temperatures.
Many of our local rivers (particularly in the
mountains) stay in the low 50F all summer.
It is wise to be prepared and bring a spectrum
of outdoor clothing ranging from shorts and
light tops to fleece vests and jackets. |
